Well, Saturday, May 16, 2020 will be an unusual day. People will still be in stay-at-home orders, but allowed to exercise while maintaining the 6 foot distance rule. Also, we won't be hosting a Coyote Creek cleanup for National River Cleanup Day.
But, that doesn't mean you can't participate in National River Cleanup Day. You can go to your nearest creek and pick up some trash, on your neighborhood walk, pick up sidewalk trash, or play our special bingo game.
Simply download the card and go find the things on it (a poppy or lizard) or perform the actions (recycle a can or draw an animal). When you do, post a picture of you doing your action on social media and tag us @coyotecreeksj. We'll be happy to re-post. Those who do play the game will be eligible for a special sling tote bag.
So, go get 'em and keep do your part to keep our creeks clean. Every little piece of trash you pick up from the creek or road stops it from going to the Bay. We hope to see you in person soon.
